Jame's ANZAC Uncle

James brought some very special family treasure to share with us today. These are Uncle Bill's medals from WW2. James brought some information which told us what the medals are for and what the colours of the ribbons mean.
"I am proud to wear Uncle Bill's medals. It was cool at the dawn parade." said James
Thank you James for sharing your special family history of a brave young man called Bill.

ANZAC Day

School is closed tomorrow as we remember and celebrate the lives and sacrifices of soldiers and families of the Armed Services. We have been thinking about what ANZAC Day means to us and sharing poetry and videos helping us to understand.

Lest we forget.....

Our Native NZ Creature Inquiry

We have been working really hard and we have finished our Glogs.
One of the last stages of our inquiry model is action and application. This means:
Why have we done our inquiry?
What is it for?
What will be the end result?
Is it meaningful?
Does it serve a purpose?

Our purpose was to research and design an information poster about our amazing New Zealand Native creatures which we could share with family, friends, whanau and other students from our school, our cluster and around the world.

Please enjoy our Glogs and share a comment with us as feedback. This will help us reflect on whether our Glogs were a success.
